Overview​

This event signifies when a study has been activated by a patient within the AcuPebble mobile application.

It is possible for there to be multiple activations on a study so you must be able to handle when this occurs.

What is activation?​

Activation is the process patients go through where they scan or enter the activation code for a study on their mobile phone.

Once they have entered this into the application it asks them for their date of birth. Their date of birth is used to validate that the correct study has been sent to the correct patient.

Activation timing​

Its possible for activation to occur after a shipment has been returned if the patient did not have internet access and they were issued a mobile phone to complete the test.

Our mobile application supports being able to complete a study in offline mode - allowing patients without internet access to complete the study. When the phone is returned to the clinic or our fulfilment center it is then connected to the internet and the recording uploaded for analysis.
